► Background

Eduardo grew up in a rather tough environment, as monetary precarity was rampant, and needing to ensure your own security was a must. Through this, Eduardo learned that sometimes, you need to do what must be done to win at all costs. As a result he lived by the motto, "If you're not cheating, you're not trying." When he grew old enough, he decided to try to make some money for his family by becoming a professional wrestler, quickly becoming a fan favorite to hate, a heel. Charismatic, but selfish. Suave, but abrasive. Eduardo makes it known what he wants and how he intends to achieve it, and you can bet it will involve underhanded tactics at every turn.

Recently, he was watching a match when he saw Kurt in the ring and, respecting his skills in the craft, asked him for some pointers. Kurt however saw more potential in Eduardo than merely giving some advice and so, he took him under his wing, and signed the two up for the Grand Ball Cup as a team. Their first match however would be plagued by a sudden situation, in which Eduardo, acting as the heel he knows how to be, decided to try and rile up the competition by speaking with his opponents, Bosh and Bash. After a brief interaction between Eduardo and Bash, Bosh stepped in and told Eduardo to stay away from his daughter. Not one to back down from a challenge however, Eduardo escalated the interaction into an altercation. Causing a prolonged fight before their match, that resulted in it being delayed to the following day. This move earned Eduardo an immediate reputation before even entering the Arena.

Bash however, found him to be quite entertaining. Despite the massive fight, afterward she would approach him, battered and beaten senseless out in the Arena parking lot. Where she would place one end of her magical mallet just in front of his facing staring upward at her. As he could feel the heat coming from the mallet presently in its fire state. Bash laughed and simply said. "I like you, you're mine now." and walked away. Eduardo felt a tad confused, but then a sense of happiness overcame him, but only for a moment before he was once more overwhelmed by pain all over his body. Eventually he would be found by Kurt and brought to fellow competitor Shaw for healing.

Kurt and Eduardo would go on to make the playoffs of the Grand Ball Cup tournament under the team name, Tornado Tag Team. Where they gained quite the attention after losing their first two matches, then proceeding to win all the next matches to reach the playoffs. Their journey would end there however, and following the orders of Bash, Eduardo parted ways with Kurt and aligned himself with Bash. Day in and out, Eduardo showers Bash with praise and affection, and while Bash remains fairly stoic, and with a tough exterior, inside, she genuinely enjoys all the positive affirmation from Eduardo, filling a void that her Father left unfilled due to his somewhat emotional unavailability despite his intense care and love for her. She also found that he made for a good training partner to help make her even stronger in battle.

Later on, the couple would meet Bash's Mother, Wanda. Who looked like she had been through quite a bit, strikingly missing an entire eye. Eduardo felt quite intimidated by her, but he also watched as the tough and gritty woman he knew became an emotional mess as she hugged her Mother for the first time in years. Seeing how things went with the last parental meeting between him and Bosh, Eduardo was quite nervous in meeting Wanda. Bash then asked her mother if she would be willing to be on a team with her and her new boyfriend for the upcoming Boss Gauntlet. As he would attempt to introduce himself, Wanda would be startled by his sudden presence in her field of view, sending a bolt of fire his way, promptly setting him ablaze, before Wanda eventually was able to extinguish him by freezing him and eventually it melted away. Despite the shenanigans, the three still agreed to become a team for the Gauntlet.

► Abilities & Traits
Grappling (Heel Style)
Weapon

Eduardo, much like Kurt, knows his way around grappling an opponent. While airborne, Eduardo will throw his opponents upward towards the top of the arena. If he grabs an opponent on the ground however, he performs "The Three Amigos" — a triple slam move that does 6 Damage per slam. Eduardo can also grab onto an opponent Kurt has grappled to increase the damage of the slam.

Fist
Active

A secondary weapon in Eduardo's toolkit. His closed fist deals 6 damage on contact. However, every time Eduardo hits someone with his fist, he has a chance to pull out a pair of brass knuckles that will increase the next punch's damage from 6 to 16. He puts so much effort into the punch though that the brass knuckles break, and a new set of brass knuckles needs to be brought out the next time.

Possum
Passive

Eduardo knows 3 words if nothing else: Lie, Cheat, Steal. When hit by an attack that would normally kill him, Eduardo will go into the Possum State. While in the Possum State, Eduardo lies about being dead and falls to the floor, waiting for a ball to approach him in confusion, whereupon he cheats death, grabs the opponent for a Three Amigos slam, and gains 1 HP to make a dirty last stand.
