Season 1 Champion
A combatant that needs no introduction. Kurt made his debut in Season 1, and since then has been looked at as one of the best to grace the arena. With an impressive win/loss record, he utilizes his grappling ability combined with his fist, to create serious combo potential and terrorize his opponents. He isn't invincible however and has fallen to a fair share of foes. That doesn't stop him from being considered one of the strongest though. Kurt held two different reigns as King of the Ring during the first season, and his second reign ended at the hands of Shaw. Despite his defeat, something about her stood out to him. He couldn't tell what, but he felt drawn to her in their battle. Later on, he would be one of the four combatants to make the Grand Finale Four Way fight. Where he would come out victorious and Season 1, King of the Ring.
Throughout the following Season, the first official tournament the Arena was holding, Kurt found himself distracted in his fights, with thoughts of Shaw racing through his mind, while at the same time, also trying to handle preparing his protege for the next season's team battle tournament. Because of this, Kurt would be eliminated from the Season 2 Tournament altogether, a disappointing performance from himself he thought. But after his final loss of the season, he resolved to lock into preparing his soon to be teammate, Eduardo. After a very rough start together in Season 3, the pair would find their footing at the last minute, and come out on top of their group after a tiebreaking free for all match. Kurt swelling with pride as he watched his student and friend win the match. Their success however was short lived and they would go on to be eliminated in the playoff bracket.
Season 4 would arrive and Kurt decided to make a move and ask Shaw to join his team, to which she gleefully agreed. Now needing a third teammate without the help of his partner in crime Eduardo, who was busy being brought into a different team, the Season 1 Champion decided to reach out to the Season 3 Champion, Cyrus, crowned alongside his teammate Mira. Seeing no better opportunity, Cyrus also agreed to be on the team, creating one of the most formidable teams of the Gauntlet, Triclass Trio. Now Kurt stands before his greatest challenge yet, but with two trusted allies by his side, he is confident in his team's strengths and determined now more than ever that they can take it all the way to the bottom floor.
An open hand holds a command grab box. Any ball that comes in contact with Kurt's open hand is grabbed and slammed to the ground, dealing damage proportional to the peak height of the slam. A brief cooldown follows each slam to prevent spam.
A secondary weapon in Kurt's toolkit. His closed fist deals 8 damage on contact, making for an effective follow-up to a slam.
