Bash is the daughter of Arena Champion Bosh. She also happens to be the daughter of another member of the Arena roster, Wanda. However, Bash was primarily raised by Bosh, as her Father tells her that despite them caring about one another very much, him and Wanda decided it was best to split amicably. While as a child she didn't fully understand this, she found it didn't affect her too much, as Bosh did everything he could to try and fill the void left by Wanda's absence. In doing so however, Bosh would consistently shelter or overly protect Bash in a multitude of situations in which it likely wasn't necessary. This led to Bash developing a bit of a defiant streak, acting out sometimes in ways Bosh could not understand. To try and reign her in, Bosh began teaching Bash at an early age how to handle a hammer. Which she struggled with mightily.
Then one night, laying on the bed she was sleeping in, was a box. When Bash awoke she opened the box and found within, a large yet very lightweight mallet. Upon grabbing it and holding it up, she could feel some kind of energy generating within the mallet, and either end of it began to glow purple, then orange, then blue, flickering between them randomly. When Bash released the mallet, all the color would drain, and it would become inert. She would thank her Father profusely for the gift, only Bosh was completely unaware of where the mallet came from and simply nodded in agreement.
Years would pass, and Bash would continue her training, becoming incredibly proficient with her weapon. The years however, were tough on Bosh as the two would clash often, primarily due to Bosh going overboard trying to keep her safe and protected, and Bash wanting to live her life the way she wanted. Yet at the same time, she didn't truly know what it was that she did want out of life. She one day, against her Father's wishes, would get out of bed late on nights he was gone and watch live footage broadcast from The Arena. Where she would watch competitors fighting against one another, when at one point, she noticed one of the very people fighting in the Arena was her own Father. Once he got home very early that morning trying to be quiet so as to not wake her, he turned around to find his daughter waiting right there at the door for him. Looking rather tired as if she hadn't slept all night. Demanding to know why he wouldn't tell her what he was doing.
Bosh then explained that he simply does not want for her to get hurt and thus would never put her in a situation like that, and that he only does it because they are in need of the money since his construction crew disbanded. At this point, Bash was quite angered by the lies and all the overprotection she got from Bosh. She then pointed her mallet directly at him and demanded to be taken there as soon as possible to sign her up to fight. She even knew that a team tournament was coming up and she also demanded they fight on the same team. Bosh went to say no, as he blinked and saw the young girl he was raising what felt like just yesterday, then blinked once more and saw the reality before him, a grown woman ready to take on the world, being held down by her Father. He breathed in deeply, sighed, and agreed. Putting Bash at ease, as they embraced.
The Father and Daughter duo would join the Arena to great applause as Bash debuted in a show match against her Father, where she would be quite well received, and at that point, she truly felt this was her calling. Joining the Grand Ball Cup tournament under the team name, Boshin' Bashers. The duo would fail to make the playoffs, though they were both undeterred as the competition within their group was rather fierce. She did gain one thing out of the experience though and that was a man named Eduardo, who doted on her quite frequently. Despite her Father's insistence she not speak with him and stay away from him, she instead felt all the more interested in doing the exact opposite. Enjoying the positive affirmation from Eduardo that she never got elsewhere before.
Eventually it would be discovered by all that Bosh, Bash, Wanda and even Bash's aunt Meryl were all in this same Arena's roster of combatants. Bosh shut down immediately and has not made any contact with Wanda still. Bash on the other hand, was elated to see her mother for the first time after so many years. Standing before Wanda was a woman she had never seen before, as the last time she ever saw her daughter was not long after she was born. However, she looked into her daughter's eyes and for a brief moment, the memories from before her incident all came flooding back, and the two embraced in a moment of rather intense emotion. Bash then asked her mother if she would be willing to be on a team with her and her new boyfriend for the upcoming Boss Gauntlet. As he would attempt to introduce himself, Wanda would be startled by his sudden presence in her field of vision, sending a bolt of fire his way, promptly setting him ablaze, before Wanda eventually was able to extinguish him by freezing him and eventually it melted away. Despite the shenanigans, the three still agreed to become a team for the Gauntlet.
