The Arena knows next to nothing about Trent at all. One day he appeared at the registration desk, holding his Nailgun. Which appears to be itself, nailed through and into his hand. Our team has determined the Nailgun must have some kind of supernatural properties, as he has never been seen reloading the nails into it, yet it always fires a nail when the trigger is pulled. Further analysis has concluded these nails are particularly deadly, and measure about nine inches in length. Outside of the Nailgun itself however, Trent seems to be completely cognizant of what is going on around him. Though he has notably never once said a word and even has never appeared to open his mouth.
Other findings were obtained through the Arena's monitoring of this particular combatant. He appears to stay within the provided living quarters each combatant has access to. Though our data determines that at no point, has a single light ever been turned on within the room. Nor has any electronic device been turned on even once. Thus it is completely unknown to the Arena what Trent does while in there. While outside of his accommodations, in times of preparation for an upcoming battle, Trent will be seen standing in position, waiting to go out into the Arena. He will not speak, he will not even appear to blink. He stands completely motionless until the moment he is called in, where he promptly starts walking to where he needs to be.
There are rumors going around talked about between other competitors. Regarding some who were out on nightly walks, noticing on different days, what appeared to be Trent quite literally laying down yet floating in mid air, with one arm sticking straight up into the air, the other kept close to himself, the hand with the Nailgun. With one leg held upward and the other dangling loosely. On top of this, all those who have claimed to see this all also note that he was spinning slowly in a circle while "laying" this way. The only conclusion that has been drawn from this thus far is that sometimes Trent must sleep outside, and that must be how he sleeps. This is, however, unconfirmed and purely speculation.
To this day, no one knows of his motivations, why he is even here to begin with, or what he really does outside of making those around him intensely nervous. It's all the worse for those that have faced him in battle. Many who come out of a match with Trent note that they felt even in times where they won, like they were being hunted the entire battle, and that despite a good or bad performance, they felt primal fear within them the entire time. Something about the piercing stare of his eyes seems to really put a lot of people on edge.
He first arrived at the Arena amid registration for the Season 3 Grand Ball Cup. He was automatically paired with another single competitor who needed a teammate. This would be the revolver wielding Lynx. Who despite her cheerful demeanor, was highly suspicious of Trent's behavior and lack of speaking whatsoever. Despite this though, she worked together with him as best she could for the Season, before eventually making her escape to join Sunny and Marina in Season 4's Boss Gauntlet.
Trent on the other hand, would be left needing two more teammates to get down into the Gauntlet. His eyes would dart across the field of competitors forming teams around him, when he spotted two men talking to one another. He would approach them, and the two would turn to face him. One of them was Flint, the other, Huck. While Huck looked at Trent with blissful ignorance, Flint on the other hand, could feel a very dense and consuming dark aura of some kind just oozing from every corner of this person. However, Flint recognized that such a person may be just the extra edge they need to make it towards the end of the Gauntlet, where the biggest prizes were said to be won. Thus, the three formed the team, Rural Ravagers, where Flint would continue to keep a sharp eye on the mysterious, and silent Trent.
Trent uses a nail gun loaded with a seemingly infinite number of nails, firing them at a consistent rate towards the nearest opponent. Each nail does 8 Damage on contact and implants itself into the enemy.
Upon an opponent making contact with the nail gun itself, all nails within said opponent are extracted for 2 Damage each. Nails that impact the wall remain as a small potential physical bump.
