Marina served for many many years as a leader of their home's naval forces. However, she has recently decided to retire from service, as she felt it best to throw in the towel on the battlefield before the damage built up over time from constant battles. Quitting while she was ahead, she soon found herself left to her own devices at home in retirement. Before long however she was finding herself falling into a depression. She lacked a thrilling high she once had in the heat of battle, and being reduced to an armchair retiree was not something that sat right with her once it happened. After enough days of gentle restlessness that could not be stood any longer, Marina one day saw a recruitment ad for the Grand Ball Cup, and while she lacked a teammate, she felt no better place for her to be, than on the field of battle. As soon as she could she went straight to registration, where she came across Kane, who also had proper military battle training. He was pretty young and inexperienced, but she felt that he made the perfect partner for her to shape into an even stronger fighter.
Marina has one harpoon gun on either side of her, and can fire them independently based on line of sight. The Harpoons do 9 damage on contact, and 6 damage upon retracting and reconnecting to the Harpoon Gun.
One harpoon gun pulls her towards the victim, while the other pulls the victim to Marina. Any harpoon that misses and instead hits a wall, always pulls Marina towards it.
