Flint is a tough fighter, who will use his axe by any means to achieve victory, even if it means implanting the head of the axe as far into the opponent as possible. Flint in battle, isn't much for words, and tends to do the talking through his axe, lovingly named "Steel". Flint lives far away from the Arena, out in some remote area. For most of Flint's life he has been most interested in being on his own, always saying he simply needed to find the right person to settle down with. Due to Flint's immaculate cleanliness and charming demeanor for someone of his seemingly crazed nature in battle, he was often approached by many who took interest in him. But he would turn each and every one away, as he always felt that when the person for him comes around, he would know immediately. Otherwise Flint spent many days in the woods around his home, chopping firewood and preparing all kinds of different pieces of wood for carving into decorative pieces. This lifestyle of his has rendered him quite strong and he would likely fit the description of a typical lumberjack.
Early in the morning, Flint awakens as the sunrise casts its rays upon him. He opens his window and closes his eyes as the cool breeze of dawn glides past his face. He listens and can hear all kinds of different birds, playing their part in a grand orchestra of nature. The leaves on each tree wave back and forth, and finally once he feels ready to face the day, Flint opens his eyes and looks upon the world once more, that is, what chunk of it can be seen from his bedroom window in the woods. Which is to say, just enough. Flint then engages in his very strict routine, his bathroom stocked full of all sorts of different products and devices for getting himself ready.
After getting ready for the day, Flint enters his kitchen in which he does his best preparing meals, while he isn't the greatest, he can get the job done quite well for someone without any formal training. Flint also, contrary to what many might think, does not consume meat, and prefers to stay on a rather strict diet that allows him to maintain his strength. But once he has finished his first meal for the day, he takes a morning walk where he once more takes in the nature around him. Walking just long enough that he loops back around to his home, arriving just in time for him to begin going to work with his trusty axe. One that has helped Flint make this home and everything around it the way it is.
Flint will then spend some hours sitting just outside his home, carving at pieces of wood to make all kinds of wood carved statues, trinkets, and even furniture. Most of it ends up being sold for the money that keeps things going around there. But many pieces still remain scattered about the property. Flint enjoys the presence of his work, as it makes him feel accomplished and satisfied. One day though, as he came back into his home after finishing up outside, Flint heard a knock at the door, which didn't happen very often. Alert, he readied his axe already in hand, and flung the door open quickly. He was greeted with a shotgun barrel aimed directly at him.
The two looked at one another, as each slowly lowered their weapon. Flint asked "Can I help you?". Flint then invited the man in as he would begin to explain his situation, and the man would introduce himself as Huck. A man on the run from the law due to what he calls a "misunderstandin'." Flint then would notice as he looked over Huck that he seemed very dirty and haggard. Thus he demanded that if Huck were to stay there for the time being that he get himself cleaned up. Such pristine accommodations was not something Huck was used to as he did much of his bathing in the "swimmin' hole" back home. But once he was finished, Flint would then offer to help with cutting his hair, and cleaning up his overall appearance. Eventually, Flint would have Huck looking far less like someone who had just been through the past few days that he had been, and then a knock was heard at the door.
The police were searching for a particular man who they described as looking quite dirty and armed with a shotgun. Requesting everyone present in the house, Flint summoned a nervous Huck to the door, who by now looked like an almost different person, and was dressed entirely differently, thanks to Flint. The officer looked at the two, then back at Flint, who gave a little wink towards the officer, determining nothing to be out of the ordinary, the officer left.
Huck would end up staying with Flint for many days, which turned into weeks, as the two grew closer to one another. Huck enjoys the time spent with Flint as well as learning all kinds of things he never knew about the world before. Flint not only enjoyed the company, but something about "taming" someone who seemed as wild as Huck attracted Flint. So after enough time had passed and the heat from Huck's escape died down, he would fully move in with Flint, as they would become committed partners to one another fully. Flint finally felt like this person was the one.
This still however left them needing to be able to support their lifestyle monetarily. When Huck would eventually come across a flier for a new battle Arena opening in a city nearby, he would try it out at first alone, before determining the pay to be well worth it enough that Huck would invite Flint to try and become part of the roster. Both would successfully make it into the Season 3 Grand Ball Cup, under the team name, Them Country Fellas. Later, the duo would take on a third member for their Season 4 team, Rural Ravagers. That team member exists in the form of Trent. Who to this day, has never actually spoken a word to either of the two, but has existed around them fighting like everyone else.
A medium range, one sided axe. Deals 8 damage per hit.
When the axe spins fast enough, upon impact with a victim the axe will wedge itself into the opponent for a brief time, dealing 10 damage on initial impact and then ticking 3 times for between 3 and 7 damage per tick depending on spin speed. The wedge is much faster from start to finish. If Flint is damaged by another opponent while wedged, the wedge ends early. Upon release, Flint gains more spin.
