Tyna (Tie-Nah) and Dillo (Dee-Low) are a pair who depend on each other significantly. So much to the point that they are almost never seen in situations where one is there and the other is not. In fact, their dependence on one another is so great, they physically attach themselves to one another through a tether connected to themselves. Many who see these two assume they come from some kind of tragic background in which the two only had each other to rely on, forming this kind of bond.
Yet, contrary to that belief, The Twins actually have had a pretty stress free life thus far. The two are quite adept at avoiding trouble and conflict, and despite life trying to hand the pair terrible situations, the two always find a way to escape the consequences. Due to this, the twins often find themselves engaging in mundane behaviors that others simply find odd. Particularly the two are obsessed with stones and rocks of different kinds. Though they absolutely hate rocks that have a rough texture to them, and only ever do they collect stones so long as they are as smooth as possible. Over the years, the two have amassed quite a collection of smooth and silky rocks and stones.
Nobody really knows why they collect them, and when asked, The Twins claim they just want more "smooths and silkies". One day, the pair were loitering outside a local dance club, looking for more rocks when one of those inside the building noticed them right in front of the main entrance. Upon opening the door, The Twins looked up and saw a tall, shiny looking person standing in front of them wearing a very colorful outfit and roller skates. She glistened heavily with light reflecting in all kinds of ways off the surface of her skin. Loud disco music being heard from within. The stranger then asked why the two were there crawling about the ground rather than inside getting down. To which they explained that they were hunting for "rocks and stones and the like". The music inside got a little louder, and just as the stranger was going to say something, the music suddenly moved her, and she proceeded to break it down outside, right in front of the twins who watched in awe at the dance moves on display.
The Twins would then say in unison, "You're so smooth!". They would then begin reaching their hands out towards the dancing stranger, who then stopped and with a somewhat concerned expression, immediately pointed in the direction of The Arena, and claimed that there, they would find all kinds of rocks and stones and "whatever the like is". Naturally The Twins immediately sprinted to the Arena, asked for "all the rocks" and promptly registered to fight. The Officials were delighted to pay two individuals as a single competitor in rocks and stones. The Twins were overjoyed to begin expanding their hard earned collection.
As part of the roster, twin unarmed balls Tyna and Dillo fight together, and hate to be alone. Despite being slightly smaller than the rest of the roster, they fight hard and try to make best use of their numbers advantage. Despite this, the competition was quite tough during their Season 2 run, and The Twins ultimately fell together in the Tournament, being eliminated by the tax man, Lincoln, who found their lack of income in place of rocks to be disturbing. To improve their skills, they sought out the original ball, Louis, for guidance and training. Going on to form the team "The Family." which despite the wisdom and training imparted upon them by "Ol' Louie", as they called him, the trio "duo" would go on to be eliminated in the Season 3 Grand Ball Cup Group Stage, with a record of one win and three losses. Even though they ended up being eliminated, The Twins were thankful to Louis for the training they received as they opted to move on to find other mentors who could help to improve their skills. Eventually meeting with the duo, Mundus and Chutz, forming a new team for Season 4, Space Times 2. Now The Twins are ready to face what lies below in the Boss Gauntlet, with a couple tricks up their sleeves.
Unarmed use their bodies primarily to do damage. Any contact with an unarmed body does damage to another ball, with unarmed collisions rewarding the faster ball with doing damage.
Tyna and Dillo enter the arena as a pair of two smaller unarmed, able to land hits simultaneously and apply pressure from multiple angles. The two are bound together by a tether, keeping them linked throughout the fight. Should one twin fall, the tether breaks, leaving the survivor to fight on alone, though not quietly. The loss enrages the surviving twin, driving them to fight harder in the absence of their partner.
All Unarmed have a passive speed gain, that resets upon taking or making a hit.
