Mick was a former baseball star. Nobody could play the sport quite like him. He has shattered records that may never be broken, and he would go on to retire from the sport early in his career — wanting to go out on a high note, to be remembered not as someone who overstayed their welcome, but for how good he was when he was around. However, shortly after his retirement, he met a very little being. On the surface, this individual looked very similar to the well known grandfather of all, Louis, only far smaller. While confused at first, the tiny unarmed introduced itself only as "Ballkind". Apparently, this little ball had known of Mick for quite some time, and had been planning this exact moment for them to meet. No one is certain what happened after their first meeting, but ever since that day, Mick carries Ballkind around with him everywhere he goes, even going as far as to disguise the small ball as an actual baseball. Soon enough, Mick rejoined his former team and coordinated replacing the actual ball with his own, allowing him to perform even better than before. This worked well for some time, before it was discovered just exactly what he was doing. This discovery would destroy Mick's career, and shun him from the entire industry forever. Yet for some reason, upon hearing this news, Mick simply stared blankly at the "baseball" in his hand as it looked back at him with a large grin. The next thing Mick knew, he was walking towards the Arena, spotting someone else about to sign up. After a brief discussion with Ballkind, Mick approached the brick layer Bates, held the baseball out to him, as it asked, "Would you kindly join our team?" Seeing no reason not to, even if slightly confused by the man holding what appeared to be a talking baseball before him, since he was in need of a teammate, Bates agreed — once again putting an even larger smirk on the face of the baseball.
Mick's bat has struck many a homerun and does 9 Damage on contact. If spinning fast enough, this damage can be boosted to 13. The tip of the bat however can do 11 and 17 Damage respectively based on spin speed.
A little unarmed ball disguised as a baseball has made it into the Arena, bouncing off teammates and enemies alike, dealing no damage and taking no damage. However if Mick hits the baseball, the first thing the baseball hits will receive 5–15 damage depending on how fast the baseball is moving on contact.
