Fiorella has always loved food. She loves making food, she loves eating food. Food brings people together like nothing else, and she never feels happier than when she is among good people and good food. When Fiorella was young, she knew almost instantly what she wanted to be when she grew up. The greatest chef in the whole world. She knew however, she wouldn't be able to become such a thing without the help of some of the masters. So, she sought out a series of well established chefs from all around, eager to learn all she could from each of them.
She first met Giovanni. A well known chef famous for his wide variety of soups. He is unfortunately however not the greatest chef to work under. While his soup may be delicious, his mental stress is always at an all time high, and he has to contend with impatient customers, a business that is unforgiving and frantic at all times, and on top of all that, the man cannot sleep as he's an insomniac. Yet fortunately, he has retained enough of a level head to continue making delicious soup for the masses each day. Fiorella learned a great deal about things from Giovanni, and how tough and cruel the food industry could truly be despite the good intentions of food itself.
She would later become a student of Peter. Who would be the teacher to show her the ways of the frying pan, and how to cook a large amount of different foods from all over the world. Peter seemed far less worried all the time like Giovanni was, and really seemed to let the act of cooking itself be a sort of catharsis. Releasing the anxieties and nervousness accrued throughout the day as you lose yourself in the process of cooking. Hyper focusing on the small things like the sounds of the kitchen, the smells of the food. Really living in the moment, and Fiorella soaked it all in.
Finally she would arrive at a bakery, where she would meet an expert baker named Pain, who specifically caters the arena with items from her shop, Pain's Pleasantries. Business there was rather slow aside from the consistent gig with the Arena. Soon however, the Arena itself would require a head Chef to do on site cooking for lodging competitors. As much as Pain wanted to take the opportunity for herself, she looked to her student and by then, friend Fiorella, knowing everything she had been through and worked for to this point, and referred her to the Arena for the position. Fiorella was overjoyed at the news, and it felt like her long journey finally culminated in her being exactly where she needed to be.
Fiorella would go on to spend countless hours making countless meals for an equally countless number of competitors. She would also spend a decent amount of time watching battles happen from a screen positioned in the kitchen where she could easily watch. She never particularly felt drawn to being in the fighting very much, and quite enjoyed what she did within the demands of her job. However, one day she was approached by one of the competitors, a younger man named Hubert, who made her an offer. Be paid not only by the Arena, but by Hubert and follow them into the Boss Gauntlet as their personal chef. Once more she thought to herself that she wasn't very interested in fighting, but she figured there was no sense in turning this down, as it sounded like an exciting new adventure in which she could further flex her cooking prowess. So she would agree to Hubert's terms, and form the team alongside Frank, Cooking the Books.
Fiorella does not spin around like other competitors and instead utilizes her kit from fixed positions around her. Her pan launches food items at random. There is a very small chance for a food to burn and do only 1 damage.
Bacon — 5 damage
Shrimp — 7 damage
Chicken — 10 damage
Steak — 15 damage
